Thanks for your interest in Quiz Coconut. We run life-changing team-building trivia events across Southern Ontario and beyond. We can help you by bringing low-hassle, cost-effective entertainment to your workforce. Over the course of an hour or two, we engage your group with fun and inclusive trivia, with lots of energy. It’s a bit like a game show. There’s questions, pictures, a Name That Tune music round, and interactive creative challenges designed to engage your team. There are points awarded for each bit, and at the end, there’s a winning team.

Here are our nine most frequently asked questions:

1. Is this for individuals, or is it team-based?
   This is a team-based activity designed to engage everyone simultaneously. Typically, the group is split into teams of about six or eight. The benefit is that no one is put on the spot or made to feel uncomfortable. But of course, there are opportunities for individual brilliance as well.
2. What is the best group size for this event?
   As it’s a team-based activity, you want enough people so you can generate some healthy rivalry. Crowds should really be larger than 20, and we can cater for groups up to around 300.
3. How do we arrange the teams?
   You can predetermine the teams if you like. This event idea is a great way of getting people interacting with people who they may not normally talk to on a daily basis. So why not mix people up and create a team-bonding experience for everyone?
4. We have a diverse group. Is this suitable?
   Of course. Our events are suitable for all ages and globally accessible regardless of where people are from. All crowds are different, and we can tailor the content to suit your team’s demographic. On the teams, a mixture of ages and backgrounds is encouraged.
5. Do we need to provide anything?
   We take care of all of the materials, pens, papers, challenge components, and sound equipment wherever necessary. You may like to provide a prize for the winning team, but that’s the only thing that you need to worry about. You will not believe how easy this is to organize.
6. Do you come to the office or a local venue?
   Great question. We typically see three different scenarios:
   • The first one is booking a nearby pub or restaurant, and we can entertain your team while they have some food or drinks.
   • The second one is booking a hotel conference center. We can entertain people with some fun at the end of a day of seminars or meetings.
   • And the third one is to come to your office and bring some entertainment there, one of our quick-fire quizzes at the end of the day.
7. How much is it?
   Price depends on the time of year, the day of the week, the time of day, where it is, and a few other factors. As a guide, it works out at about $10 to $40 a head, although it’s not an exact price per head charge. Once we’ve agreed on a price, it won’t go up even if you get a few more people playing on the day. The more the merrier.
8. Is it a quiz about coconuts?
   No, there’s no questions about coconuts. Unless you want some.
9. How good is it?
   Now, I know these events are brilliant, but don’t just take my word for it. We’ve entertained over 100 companies, from startups to Google, Disney and Facebook. Many are repeat bookers. Just ask and I can happily provide testimonials so you can hear firsthand what their experience was like.
